Thank you for remembering us. We are struggling in our program because we are not in one city but are 12 hrs drive apart, only sir Lemy and sir Lito are together in Vancouver.
Couple of weeks a ago, the North American Director Pastor Monte Church came to Vancouver and officially indorsed the New Start Church which is our Aboriginal brothers and sisters in Metro Vancouver to the SULADS. All the church and outreach program are handled by the Sulads with the support of the all filipino church in Vancouver and the British Collumbia Conference. This is a unique program and the first SULADS urban approach in the history of the SULADS.
We are confident that the Sulads native menistry in Canada will move on because God is with us and He is using Sulads to reach out to our beloved aboriginal brothers and sisters.
Yes, all of us are struggling for our own financial support for we have families and children to send to our Adventist School, mortgages to be paid, and monthly bills to be taking care of. The British Columbia conference took care of the New Start Aboriginal SDA church rent of which SULADS are greatly thankful for.
The other day I was privelaged to visit a maximum security prison facilities in Edmonton Alberta, a very highly guarded prison 24 x 7 with Pastor Oliver Johnson the Chaplain. Almost 80% of the inmates are Aboriginal but one of them has accepted Jesus as his personal saviour and He is soon to be baptised. He is very eager to join with us in our church for he is almost to be released and looks forward to that great day of his baptism. Please pray for us that with Gods blessing this person will be working hand in hand with the Sulads to establish a new Aboriginal SDA congregation here in the capital city of Alberta. Lets keep the motto of our almamater SULADS from MVC "Shine on tell JESUS comes". Let us help reach the unreached. Amen...
